Master Gauri Shankar
Participated in the freedom movement. Was the president of Kunihar Praja Mandal. Son of noted freedom fighter Babu Kanshi Ram of Kunihar. Served multiple jail sentences in Arki (23 December 1943 - 3 July 1944) and Ambala (6 weeks) jails. Was called as Masterji. Passed away in 1993.
